DESCRIPTION: Traffic Signal Light Controller Kit Model TS10 This simple controllersimulates the timing sequence of a "real life" traffic light when connected to a single G,Y,R traffic light signal. All are manufactured withsurface-mount technology on a double sided commercial grade PCB ( BLUE ). All TS Series controllers are designed, manufactured, and tested, right in Toledo, Ohio USA! Features: -> Isolated solid state AC switching outputs. -> Low voltage supply isolated from AC line. -> Compact design for "inside" installation. -> Adjustable cycle time. -> User replaceable fuse. What is included: 1x - TS10 Controller 1x - Instructions 4x - Adhesive mounting posts 1x - Power cord - (3x 18AWG) 1x - 25" 16AWG Hookup wire w/ Fork ends This kit includes all wiring and hardware for connection to a single G,Y,R traffic light signal. Fully tested, ready to ship. CUSTOMER CARE / FEEDBACK If for any reason you have trouble with your TS Series traffic light controller, or need additional instructions, please don't hesitate to contact me via eBay mail system. I will leave feedback when feedback is left, this is to insure your completely satisfied. SPECIFICATIONS: Dimension: 3" x 3.25" - PCB AC Power: 120VAC / 2A Max. - Fused Output Power: 120VAC / 120W Max. - Each Channel (^) Wire Size: 16 - 22AWG - Recommended Timing (t): 3 -15 Seconds - Power indicator will toggle off/on based on time set. Time Interval: Red = t x 5 Example: Timing = 5 Seconds (t = Timing) Yellow = t x 1 Red = 5s x 5 = 25s Green = t x 4 Yellow = 5s x 1 = 5s Time Green = 5s x 4 = 20s Adjustment: Single Turn (*) Counter-Clockwise = Slow Clockwise = Fast * Note: Time adjustment is single turn, similar to radio volume knob. Do not force beyond stopping points, as this will cause permanent damage. ^ Note: Output power is compatible with both L.E.D. and incandescent lighting. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR INDUCTIVE LOADS. Caution!: If you need assistance, please consult a qualified electrician. Warning!: SHOCK HAZARD! DO NOT HANDLE CONTROLLER WHILE POWERED ON. JUST TO LET YOU KNOW..... "MY TWO CENTS" I decided to design and build my own traffic light controller for the simple reason that I'm also a traffic signal "nut" too. I have been fascinated with them since I was a small child. TO MY POTENTIAL BIDDERS If my controller is not what your looking for, I do recommend looking around at what other eBay members have to offer. Other sellers/builders of traffic light controllers do offer a lot of different "flavors", pretty cool. Check 'em out on eBay. A NOTE TO THE COMPETITORS - NO TRASH TALK ! Just to set the record straight, this is something that I wanted to do for fun, not to steal business away from others. My design "IS" my own original design, and not a copy of another. Speaking of copying... Isn't standard traffic light functionality the same throughout the country? So, I guess you could say I have a "copy" by functionality, but not by design. Who was the first to copy the functionality? Q & A What is that big "square component" ? The "square component" is a transformer. It serves two functions, it converts AC line voltage to a lower voltage (step down), for low voltage circuits. While supplying low voltage, this low voltage is also isolated from the AC line voltage. This configuration provides better reliability, and is a "safer" design, than "transformerless" supplies. What is a "transformerless supply"? Transformerless (No transformer) designs use passive components, (capacitors, resistors, and diodes) to convert low voltage directly from AC line voltage, this practice is non-conventional, since t is no isolation barrier between AC line voltage and the lower voltage supply. This is also hazardous in the event human contact occurs, the human will experience the AC line voltage, not the low voltage supplied to other circuits within the desig...
