CABALLITO LOW 1E/0889 SIGNED BY NEW MEXICO ARTIST AMADO PENA Trail of Painted Ponies Collection by Westland Giftware Style # 1525 Resin, 6" Tall First edition pony LOW 1E/0889 which has been signed by the artist on the bottom of the pony and also on the side of the base so that his signature can be seen when the pony is displayed. This pony is now retired and sold-out. Signed versions are very difficult to find as most belong to collector's of Mr. Pena's original artwork. He normally signed only the bottom of the pony and most of the signed ponies were second editions. However, I had made previous purchases at his gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico so he agreed to sign this pony and add a second signature on the side of the base making this a very rare signed version. The pony was signed last weekend at the Southwest Indian Market in Arlington, TX. In addition to signing the pony twice, he also signed the inside of the descriptive story tag. Pony is brand new and complete with everything (original RED BOX , plastic bag, styrofoam, descriptive hang-tag, and collector's checklist) . Pony has never been displayed and was only removed from the box for signing and again for photos. Please excuse any spots in my photos which are glare from my camera flash. Pony comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home. This pony is in brand new condition. read more
