Offered for sale is Item No. 1524 ULTRA LOW ~ 1E / 0220 ~ NO RESERVE Writes Janee Hughes , a former art teacher and book illustrator from Salem, Oregon, "Biologists are not in agreement about the purpose of a zebra's stripes. Some say the wonderful patterns act as camouflage in the tall grass, but others say the stripes confuse predators. When a lion sees a herd of zebras, it is difficult for her to distinguish one animal from another in order to single out a potential victim." Whichever the case may be, it was great fun creating a herd of Grant's zebras living 'Incognito'. This wonderful pony is a FIRST EDITION with a LOW, LOW number of 0220! She's BRAND NEW, in MINT condition and comes in her original box with hang tag, bag, booklet and styrofoam. She's been stored since purchase in a SMOKE FREE HOME and has only been removed from her box to take the photos and for inspection. Other than what may be described above, I have looked this pony over carefully and can detect no obvious cracks, chips or other flaws on it. However, it may have minor imperfections that occurred while it was in the retail store environment or show signs of touch-up (as most ceramic and some resin pieces do) that occurred during manufacture.
