This fabulous very old ANTIQUE TRAMP ART BLACK FOREST CRISS CROSS handcarved wood frame ,with the original inner delicate gold painted frame is in original condition.and as a bonus, a beautiful HOPE FAITH CHARITY religious picture.the measurements are picture 21 x 8 1/2 inches,with frame 26 x 14 inches.the inner gold frame has never been restored,original glass ,needs cleaning,outer dark handcarved wood frame also has never been cleaned and has a piece missing(see pictures),but frame is still quite solid and sturdy.one of the eye hooks on the wire looks like it has been replaced over the years.that is the only thing that looks to have been altered,for a piece this old i believe it is in remarkable shape.it only has one nail holding the original 1/8th inch pine board on the back,please see pictures to see the oxidation,(patina)which takes years to happen.if you have any ?s or would like more pics,please ask. don't miss out on the truely lovely antique(1900's) TRAMP ART BLACK FOREAT CRISS CROSS FRAME. thank you for looking.
