The Transformers Collection TFC-18 G1 SOUNDBLASTER (MISB) Takara Japan - 2005 DESCRIPTION The Transformers Collection TFC-18 SOUNDBLASTER - This highly-detailed action figure is a reissue of Soundblaster, Destron (Decepticon) Communications Officer and upgrade to Soundwave, from the classic Generation 1 or "G1" TV series and toyline released in both the USA and Japan. The toy was originally released in Japan in March 2005 for 5500 yen (approximately $55 USD) although I paid more for it domestically.Soundblaster transforms into a silver and black (non-working) mini-cassette deck and a fearsome robot. He is accompanied by Buzzsaw who transforms into a mini-cassette tape and a gold and black condor and Jaguar (aka Ravage) who transforms into a mini-cassette tape and black jaguar. Other accessories include Soundblaster's shoulder-mounted cannon, his handheld gun, three chromed missiles(?) for his gun, Buzzsaw's chromed guns, Jaguar's chromed guns, and plastic cases for Buzzsaw and Jaguar. The box front swings open to reveal several pull-out pages which feature character bios, toy photos, and a small poster of Broadcast (aka Blaster).NOTE WELL: This item was originally released in Japan according to Japanese toy standards. As a result, it is only intended for collectors 16 and up in the USA, not for small children.This item comes in brand new, Mint in Sealed Box condition. The box itself is in very good condition, showing very little shelf wear. T is a small dent in the box front just to the left of Jaguar's nose (see photos). It will be securely packed in styrofoam peanuts when shipped.This item comes from my personal collection in a clean, smoke-free, pet-free home.
