Generation 1 Volume 2 - War and Peace - Brad Mick / Pat Lee After eons of conflict, former Decepticon Shockwave has emerged from the ashes of conflict to unify Cybertron and transform the once war-torn planet into a utopia. Now, this new monarch has come to Earth with his sights set on both Autobots and the Decepticons. The ultimatum: Pledge alliegence to his new world order or retun to Cybertron to be executed as war criminals. This volume contains the debut of Brad Mick, a transformers fanatic and is RUMORED to serve as a majority of the basis for the Transformers 2 movie due out sometime in 2009 War Within Volume 2 - Dark Ages - Simon Furman / Andrew Wildman Cybertron, 6 million plus years before the Transformers came to earth and with Optimus Prime and Megatron missing, presumed dead, the civil war control of Cybertron falls into a Dark Age of multiple factions and confused in-fighting. Into this chaotic war torn cauldron comes THE FALLEN (the main 'bad guy' who is rumored to appear in the movie Transformers 2), a dark enigma from Cybertrons pre-history (some sources cite The Fallen as being a great great grandfather of Megatron and half brother of Unicron). He wants nothing more than the end of everything and he knows how and who he needs to get the job done. Both books are in excellent condition. they are free from tears, bends, scratches, folds, writing, and liquid / sunlight damages. And, if I may say so... damn good stories. Each was 17.95 new in store and are currently out of print. They also each include concept sketches and interviews with the authors and artists concerning the material in the volumes. Definitely worth buying if you want a little bit of insight on some of the rumors surrounding the Transformers 2 movie.
