is a beautiful example of the very rare Beolit DeLuxe 611T. The radio is made in Denmark by the famous factory Bang & Olufsen from 1965 to 1967 The radio is in fully working condition with excellent sound. Very nice Brazilian Rosewood cabinet with beautiful grain structure. Both arials are tight and straight. Scale is very presentable though it got a little hairline crack around the on/off switch. The very unique duplex scale drive with a scale for FM and AM just operated by one knob is in perfect working condition. Very nice handle showing hardly no sign of wear. The radio is only battery operated, it takers 6 each D cells - clean battery compartment. The radio has been nicely cleaned and fully serviced. Take a look at the photos - they will show all the details. Beolit DeLuxe 611T is the export version of the Beolit 800 and is much more rare, it has the sought after SW for the export market along with MW, LW and FM. The sound is absolutely fantastic for a portable radio because its big oval speaker, very rich and warm sound. It is possible to place the radio laying down, simply by moving the handle down and a set of small feets is comming out of the lower part of the cabinet, the speaker will be facing upwards.
