Mid 19th C, large Chinese lacquer tray on contemporary hand crafted stand, tray is decorated with eight Chinese figures, two heron and flowing river, interior rim has alternating butterfly and floral decoration, back rim is painted with floral design, done in black and red with gold highlights. The stand has four flared and tapered legs with a crossed curved stretcher, tray 2 3/4''H x 21''W x 31''L, overall 22''H, tray has age cracking and minor touch up, stand good condition. From a Litchfield Connecticut estate.
