(British Railways) green livery matt green plastic loco & tender bodies, loco has a matt black painted cab roof and boiler front plus 2 brass safety valves, "PRINCESS ELIZABETH" nameplates in yellow on orangy-red, orange single lining on footplate, boiler and wheel splashers, "8P" & "46201" road number on both cab sides in yellow which are within a triple-lined (orange/black/orange) rectangle, painted silver handrail detail, see-through spoked blackened metal driving wheels, tender: both sides have a triple-lined (orange/black/orange) edge border with a BR totem in red, white & yellow near the center, loco & tender: have separately added metal buffer heads & Mk3 couplers, comes with original screwdriver & instruction sheet (stamped R 386 10 4 67 ) as well as driver and fireman figures in cellophaine packets as are the small parts, operates on 12vdc, suitable for use on all Tri-ang track up to and including System 6, approx. 10½" (26.7 cms) long, 1:76 scale, OO & HO gauge, made in England by Rovex Scale Models Ltd., Div. of Lines Bros. Ltd. c1967 Production dates shown above are for this specific version which comes with the original assembly instruction sheet that is dated 1967. It is tfore odd that it is packed in a "Tri-ang Railways" box albeit the internal packing is marked "Tri-ang Hornby". It would seem that Rovex had over estimated the initial sales or that they did not wish to incurr the cost of revising the box art after the name change in 1965. Including all other variations this item was produced from 1962 to 1970. Item: New Old Stock , complete, all original Box: Very Good item is absolutely 100% complete, never assembled & like new Instruction Sheet: has several small to moderate sized scrapes/tears in the body of the sheet (not at edges) which have resulted in a small amount of paper loss however by chance it has had almost no affect on text or graphics, the only text that is missing is one letter "b" from the word "be" in the decal instructions Box: lid has numerous rubs/scuffs which are mostly on the sides, top of lid has a copuple but is generally very nice, left end has an original retailer price sticker from "George's Trains" showing a Canadian price of "11.95" and also has the word "KIT" printed on it with a blue pen, right end has some paper loss due to price sticker removal, because of adjoining white space the loss is not overly objectionable, both ends and corresponding areas of bottom also have original dried tape residue, original internal foam padding has yellowed with age but has not begun to crumble, header flap on one of the small parts packets has a crumpled corner, NO other paper loss, NO split corners, NO tears, NO punctures, NO scratches, NO creases, NO other pen parks, NO stains, NO other tape, stickers or related residue By CANADA POST to address provided by PayPal, paid by purchaser World USA Canada $ 29.60 $ 13.50 U.S. dollars I By Postal Code I (includes handling & quality packing) English Only Communication Combined Shipments We automatically combine multiple purchases into one well packed shipment.
