Presenting a beautiful tri-footed antique French pewter pitcher dating to the 18th Century in good condition. Wonderful primitive detailing in decoration, inscribed C.W. on the front, the antique pewter pitcher stands 12 1/2" in height, and the base measures 6 1/4 across, not including the ball feet. The early pewter pitcher has a few dings on the portion of the pitcher under the ring of decorative poinsons and the first ring of the base...these are easily seen in the photos. The lid opens and closes with ease, the hinges are true and still very solid. I cannot find makers marks. The antique pitcher is part of a collection, and has been well cared for. Beautiful lines and extremely well designed. Completely original, it looks like one of the feet may have been re-enforced. Shown in photos as well. Original patina.
