This lot is for a Tri-ang train set RS3; 'Britannia' loco and Pullman coaches. This is one of Tri-ang's earliest 'OO' scale sets. It comprises of a 4-6-2 steam loco, 'Britannia'; pullman coach 'Ruth'; pullman coach 'Anne'; pullman coach, 'Car no.79' and a circuit of Super 4 track. The box is original with all the inserts and cover. The loco and coaches, etc are all original to this set. In truth, this set is about sixty years old and it's fair to say that the box lid itself is quite tatty. The rest of the box and inserts are fairly good for their age. It's been in the loft for decades but the loco is in near mint, superb collectable condition, as are the coaches. They all work properly with no damage or bits missing. The coaches roll beautifully. All the transfers are good and in place on both the loco and coaches . I've tried to get the important factors in the photos so have a good look and feel free to ask any questions via the Ebay link.
