Old Tribal Ifugao Ginuttu Bone Belt and Bolo Knife

Up for bid is an authentic Philippine Ifugao Bolo Knife, circa 1920. In the past the bolo was used as a fighting instrument as well as a very important agricultural tool. The bolo is well used with an 16” blade and a hard steel handle tightly wrapped with well maintained rattan. The overall length of the knife is 22.5” with a 13” blade. This authentic bolo is housed in a traditionally decorated and well used 17.5” wooden scabbard. This is a wonderful example of a very traditional Filipino sword, don’t miss the opportunity to own this fine tribal artifact with a reasonable starting price and NO RESERVE.
