Description: This is a beautiful vintage / antique 1952 Trifari brooch. This is part of Trifari's "Twinkle" design group. It looks much nicer in person than it does in the photos! T he patent that was eventually granted for this brooch was patent # 167,226 granted to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman & Fishel Inc. on July 8, 1952. It is made up of clear baguette, green diamond and clear round glue set rhinestones in a golden toned Trifanium. This brooch was also featured in the 1952 Trifari advertisement "The Most Enchanted Gift of all/Jewels by Trifari". This would be great to add to your collection or to wear! I am also selling the matching bracelet so you might want to browse my other listings! Size: It is approximately 2 1/4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches wide Markings: Signed "TRIFARI" with a crown over the "T" and "Pat Pend" on the back Closure: Fold over pin type clasp with roll over 'c' safety Condition: Great antique / vintage condition. The rhinestones are all present but a couple may be replacements. The golden toned plating is beautiful - actually in amazing condition for a piece of jewelry that is over 60 years old!
