This is a Trigger Lunch Box that comes with the Thermos that I used as a kid growing up on the Texas Gulf Coast in the 1950's. I've had it in my attic ever since. It's in good shape mechanically, but has some worn spots in the paint, some dents on the edges, and some rust as shown in the pictures. The Thermos is in very good condition but does have some surface rust on the bottom; it has the unbroken, glass liner. First pic. is front of box, 2nd pic. is back of box, 7th pic. is a closeup of front of box, 8th pic. is closeup of one side of box w faint letters "TOP" are shown that my Mother wrote to orient the box with that end "up" so the Thermos wouldn't leak.

Added Note 12/5/06: the shipping is estimated on the high side due to the weight of the Lunch Box PLUS the weight of the Thermos is 3 pounds without adding box or packaging. Also I've estimated to ship US Priority Mail WITH insurance. If you bid and win, and don't want to pay this much for shipping we can work something out, I'm sure.

Please NOTE: I ship only to lower 48.

I will ship U. S. Postal Service Priority Mail WITH INSURANCE, unless you tell me otherwise.
