This is a very rare example of a natural lifetime position trilobite Asaphus BRONGNIART with hypostome (O1) (F.Shmidt). These trilobites are coming from the Down Ordovician Level deposits of the Wolchov River (small stream Lava) region 100 km near Saint Petersburg, Russia. No plastic. It is wonderfully articulated and exhibits fine detail. Age: Down OrdovicianTrilobite size itself is 77x46 mm Approx. matrix size: 115x68x48 mm Total weight: 554 gram This is a great buy at a good price for such an attractive Russian trilobite. It makes a wonderful addition to any trilobite collection. It's caramel-colored Calcite shell is well set off by the white limestone matrix.
