TRINA ROBBINS - GIRLIE SKETCH ORIG ART TRINA ROBBINS (b. 1939) was the first female Underground comix artist, starting with the pioneering It Ain't Me Babe in 1970. She also worked on All Girl Thrills, Girl Fight , and Wimmen's Comix . In later years she worked on Wonder Woman for DC, and created her own superhero title GoGirl! for Dark Horse. Her nonfiction books about comics include From Girls to Grrlz (1999), and The Great Women Cartoonists (2001). This original artwork is a sketch by Trina Robbins, probably from a convention. The piece is undated, but is probably from the 1970s. It has an image area of 7" x 9". The art is in very good condition with light overall wear, edge wear, and aging.
