Scene from an Ancient Legend

Comments- An excellent old, bold and dramatic Chikashige scene from an old legend. Four characters in the foreground in front of a waterfall. A group of demon figures in the upper right in an illustration from this old story. A great choice for the collector or as a bold, dramatic original antique to display.

Artist- Chikashige (active ca. 1850 - 1890)

Condition- Color and detail excellent. The prints are backed with thin paper from previous folio inclusion and attached at the seams for presentation as a triptych. The triptych is folded at the seams for storage and will be shipped folded, can be flattened to frame. No holes or tears, nice full panels, a nice piece.
