Rare, original 1946 window card for the Broadway flop musicalNELLIE BLY with a score by Burke & Van Heusen.Eddie Cantor co-produced this 16-performance run. This is NOT a reproduction or a print. It is an original vintage window card. Please study the image carefully before bidding. Unless noted all posters measure 14x22, are on standard window card stock and are in very-good to near-mint condition with allowances for minor aging. About THE LOST COLLECTION : Theshipping manifest said the crates contained cardboard. The movers stacked them off the floor on wooden pallets in a distant corner of the warehouse. For forty years they remained there, forgotten. In 2013 the crates were rediscovered and the plastic shrink-wrapping that protected them cut open. And what a discovery! The crates did , in fact, contain cardboard… a once-in-a-lifetime treasure trove of original Broadway window cards and posters for musicals, plays, classical and popular concerts, and dance, dating from the 1930s to the 1970s.… thousands of pristine survivors from the golden age of Broadway.
