For sale is my 1970 Triumph Herald Tristan Convertible. I have loved owning the car, but it is my daily driver and i just don't think it is the right car for my commute to work. As per the pictures, the car looks great, it runs very nicely too. I shall give a brief insight into the car. Bodywork The body is very straight. All panels are solid with no sign of deep rot. The rear bumper quarters are the worst point with some bubbling, but very useable still. There are a couple of bubbles here and there, but i must stress, it really is very good. The paintwork cleans up beautifully and looks great with a polish. I will clean it tomorrow, Thursday 30th, and add a couple more pictures. It has halogen headlights fitted, so better lighting. The wheels included are the Spitfire ones (the oval hole ones), though if the buy it now is met, i will include the other set. Running gear The car is fitted with a 1500 engine and OVERDRIVE gearbox with standard 4.1 diff. The car runs beautifully and doesn't miss a beat. I use it daily for my 15 mile round trip and it hasn't let me down (except for once when i ran out of fuel!). The overdrive works as it should and means you can cruise on the motorway at 60mph at just under 3000rpm.
