WHAT A FIND!

I found this treasure in my mother's attic, turned face down in the far corner. I almost overlooked it. It is probably from the year 1963, if the M63 at the bottom is the year of manufacture, which I've been told it is. The colors are still bright red, orange, blue and teal. The sign reads:

Drink

Tru Ade

COLD

JUICY

DELICIOUS!

.....not carbonated

T are six slots on each side, accessible from the back. The back is cardboard, with six slots on each end. The entire sign is 28.5 inches long and 13.25 inches high. The glass is in perfect shape. The metal frame is rusted and t is dust inside the menu board. I have no idea how to clean it. The back does not come off. T is a chain at the top to hang the board with.

TruAde was an orange drink, non carbonated. It also came in grape. The Statler Brothers mentioned TruAde in one of their songs. It was much better known in the South.

I am starting this auction low. The shipping will be rather high due to the size of the board. Insurance is required.
