These are 3 wonderful antique "Civil War Era" Masonic wall charts, with great lithograph colors, on their original rollers. (Please excuse my camera glare & the paperweights I had to use to keep them unrolled.) All 3 are marked at the bottom with - Entered According to Act Of Congress in the year 1868 by John Scr in the Clerks Office of the District Court of Ohio, and below that it has The Pettibone Bros. Mfg. Co. Fraternity Publishers, Cincinnati, Ohio. These came out of a very old disbanded Masons Lodge in Indiana. The charts each measure 31 inches wide by 46 inches long, and all have a top & bottom roller except for 1 is missing the bottom stick or roller (picture top right). All are beautifully colored lithograph that is shiny (like old fashioned oil cloth) and backed with a thin cloth like backing. All were used to hang on a wall, the top rollers say "Hartshorns" Self-Acting Shade Roller. The bottom sticks that were used to pull the charts down are original I believe, and as I said earlier 1 is missing. These had the most wear and tear, and a small amount of print is missing. Two of these bottom sticks have been taped on. All 3 charts are really in very nice condition for their age. The bottom chart on my picture shows a little damage on the lower left side. T is minimal damage on all but overall condition is quite good. The read more
