A WONDERFUL OLD SCARCE BUTTON LISTED IN ALBERT'S AS "PC 98", OF THE CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGN OF 1834. IT HAS THE INSCRIPTION "TRUE WHIGS" OF 76 & 34, WITH "E PLURIBUS UNUM" ON A SCROLL ABOVE A LIBERTY CAP ON POLE. IT IS A ONE-PIECE BRASS WITH BORDER. IT HAS THE BACKMARK OF "R. J. & CO. EXTRA, AND MEASURES 5/8", AND IS IN OK CONDITION, BUT DOES HAVE A BENT SHANK. THANKS FOR LOOKING!
