T.S.S. Cameronia. Anchor Line. c 1920's.The Butterfly wing souvenir picture was purchased on board ship by passengers enjoying the cruise from Glasgow to New York. The Cameronia was built to replace another vessel of the same name which was sunk off malta in 1917 whilst being used as a troop ship. The second ship was later to be requisitioned and used in the second world war for the same purpose. Size.. 3.75 inches wide x 2.75 inches high. A couple of small marks to the ebonised frame but overall in good condition. The butterfly wings are all intact, there is no deterioration. please see photos for condition but if you require more pics or info please email.
