Time During the Edo period (1603 - 1868) Touchmark ( Inscription ) No Touchmark Dimensions 1. Length = 6.8 cm2. Width = 6.2 cm3. Thickness = 0.4 cm4. Nakago Hole = 2.6 x 0.6 cm5. Weight = 84 g6. Material = Iron7. Box = Wooden Box (If you would like to know the measure in inches, please divide each number by 2.54 and please multiply 0.0353 if you would like to transform grams to ounces.[Example] 10cm = 3.937inch, 100g = 3.53oz ) Description [ Tetsu-Ji ] This tsuba is made of iron. Tempered well.[ Mokko-Gata ] It is shaped like a Japanese quince.[ Nikubori ] Ume tree is expressed in carving.[ Zogan ] Ume flowers are expressed in Zogan inlay with silver and brass.So, we call it "Tetsu-Ji Mokko-Gata Nikubori Zogan Tsuba".It is a little rusty.Inlaid with silver and brass.The color of this tsuba is nice as it is forged well.Comes with a wooden box.
