Fresh from an Upstate New York estate comes this fine auction for a beautiful and rare Tunstall pedestal dish. This dish stands around 5" tall, and is 8 3/4" across it's bowl. The bowl of the dish is decorated in a fantastic nature scene. The scene looks like an image of wetlands with a crane, birds, a dragonfly, and detailed lilly pads, and cattails. The border is decorated with fish, and plants. The detail is absolutely breathtaking. This dish is in fine shape, with no chips, cracks, or dings, but it does contain some crazing commensurate with it's age. The dish is hallmarked on the bottom, Tunstall, "Osbourne", and Telsmore and Son. This piece will be a fine addition to any home or collection. Thanks for looking!
