TURKS & CAICOS IS: 2001 .999 Silver Proof 20 Crowns - top grade (my ref. 48.29) The Turks & Caicos Islands is a British Colony in the West Indies.2011 Krause catalogue ref. no. KM #236: $40.This silver proof coin was struck by the Royal Mint to commemorate the 75th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II. It had a low mintage (exact number not confirmed).The coin has a diameter of 38.9 mm, weighs 31.2 grams, was struck in .999 silver and contains 1.0021 troy ounces of pure silver. It comes in a clear plastic capsule (there is no certificate of authenticity with this coin). In excellent condition.
