Turqouise guilloche enamel over an engine turned pattern of outward radiating circles on the lid of this pretty compact. The body of the top has a lines and chevron pattern down the sides beneath the enamel. T are two pink flowers painted on the bottom of the lid, surrounded by greenery and blue ribbons. T is also a blue bow with a trailing ribbon on the top of the lid. These same painted decorations flank the top corners and the bottom point of the top edges. T has been a minor repair to the enamel at the 9 o'clock position - see pix; and t is what appears to be a line between the flower garland and bow on the lid - you cannot feel this, so it must have been in one of the layers of enamel when it was originally made. Not real noticeable unless turned to the right angle of light. The lid opens by simply pulling up via the little metal tab at the bottom, revealing a cake rouge with tabs to hold it in place in the base of the lid. T is a crescent shaped mirror set into the metal framework of the lid, surrounding the top half of the rouge cake. The base has a loose powder sifter, still functions and has the tab for holding a puff in place - that also serves to rotate the powder dial.
