TWA DC 9 vintage toy motorized jet airplane. The DC 9 was an aircraft used by many different airlines including Eastern, Delta, United, etc. The fuselage measures 16 3/4" long with a wingspan of 14 1/4" wide. Except for a repaired small crack in the starboard wing (right side / see photos) and some light storage marks/scratches too small to be seen in the photos, this is in really nice condition for it's age. No dents, chips, paint is excellent along with the TWA logos. The battery compartment is perfect. This is from the 60's. When turned on (takes 2 batteries not included) the rear engines light up and you hear the roar of the engines. The plane moves in a straight line or right/left circle pattern as the nose gear has 3 positions. The plane taxies, stops automatically, then the door opens and a stair comes out, the flight attendant is visible inside, then the stair retracts, door shuts then it taxies again. Really cool.

I am the original owner of this toy and rarely played with it. I no longer have the box but be assured that I will have this packed extremely well for safe shipping. Due to the age and nature of this item it is being sold as is but be assured it works perfectly.
