TWA stewardess wing. This wing was created in 1935 and was used for Stewardess classes until 1939. Remember, flight attendant is the modern term. It is vintage sterling silver, the roller lock and pin work well. The pin opens to 80 degrees which is correct for an old Balfour wing. The wing is heavy. Don't currently have a gram scale. The pin mounts are intact and solid. LGB hallmark and Sterling mark are clear on the back of the wing. Photo shows the absolute fine and beautiful detailing in the classic Balfour feathering. Here is your chance to own a unique part of Americana. Patina is present, we leave it up to the buyer whether it stays or goes. The wing shows the old 4 engine turboprop, and TWA is clearly visible on the airplane fueselage. Sometimes old art is simply the best! You deserve it, bid, or buy it now!
