T's nothing quite like the glint of finely polished sterling with just the right amount of age appropriate patina. I was raised to appreciate sterling and all things "sparkly" and this is reflected in my sterling offerings. This set of Whiting Lily seafood forks is indeed a special find with a freshly hand polished gleam. They aren't cheap and neither are you.This boxed set of 12 seafood forks was purchased years ago, in Aschaffenburg Germany, by a discriminating collector as a surprise gift for his wife. The box is in it's original condition and makes for a wonderful presentation. A Mr. M. Winkler owned the shop at 24 Herstalstrasse and was a fine watch, gold and silverware dealer.The combined weight of the forks is over 9 ounces, the individual length is 5 7/8", script monogrammed DLW, are in almost unused condition, free of dings, dents or damage other than slight scratches that can be seen with a magnifying glass. They are hallmarked on the reverse, "Pat. '02", "R'd. '02" (Whiting's oldest trademarks), and "Sterling".
