Like the show that inspired it, " TZ " became one of the top sellers in pinball history and has millions of fans world-wide to this day. Designed by renowned Pat Lawlor, with artwork by John Youssi, Twilight Zone is a 1993 Bally game sold in a âeoewide body " cabinet to house its many features. It is a very challenging game with deep rule sets. Among the many playfield toys are a working analog clock, a miniature gumball machine (which houses a ceramic pinball known as "The Powerball") and a number of magnets concealed beneath the playfield that could stop a pinball cold when activated, and features lots of cool sound effects, with theme music and several sound clips of Rod Sterlingâe(tm)s voice, impersonated by Fred Young. While most pinball games contain eight or nine modes to reach the end, or âeoeWizardâe mode, Twilight Zone has an incredible 15 different modes including FIVE different types of multi-ball play! Twilight Zone is the ONLY game ever created with a special ceramic âeoePowerballâe pinball! The speed of game play is increased dramatically when this ball is in play (the ceramic ball is 3-4 times faster than the regular steel ball; it is very slightly lighter/larger than the steel pinball, it tends to spin and bounce differently, and is, of course, completely immune to magnets.) The light box panel has been cleaned to obtain an improved illumination. The game is provided with the standard clock, not the white clock. The back glass is in perfect condition, with no discoloration, and the cabinet is in great condition, with very good colours.
