Offered to you are TWO 16" reproductions of a mid-eighteenth century clay Tavern pipes.It is typical of those used during Colonial times.The mold was made by piecing together fragments of pipe chards found in Colonial Williamsburg diggings.It was also called a "Tavern Pipe"because the Tavern supplied them to it's paying customers.It has a long stem so it may be reused several times by different patrons who would snap a bit off the end.So as to not put the germs of the previous user in their mouth.These pipes are fully functional and would be awesome for a Ren-Fests ,Plays ,Decor ,St.Patricks Day or any day at your local Irish pub .You could also paint(non-toxic) them any way you like or wrap the stem in a leather strand and glue some faux fur in the center,hang a couple feathers and beads for a Peace Pipe ..
