These two little figurines are B. Hummel copies done in l942 by Herbert Dubler, Inc. of New York. The little boy is asleep in his chair with a floppy clown clutched tightly. The little girl is, of course, doing house work! They are not porcelain or bisque, but more like molded plaster material. It is rather soft and some of the paint has chipped off in a few places. T is substantial crazing in the paint on the front half of the boy, but only on the surface. He also needs to be cleaned He looks like both he and his clown have been playing hard and need a bath. The little girl is surprisingly clean T is a green felt pad on the bottom of the girl but none on the boy. She stands 5 1/2" tall and he is 5" to the top of the point on his chair. They both appear to be dressed in traditional peasant garb. All in all, an adorable pair. Please email with any questions. Thank you for looking and good luck should you decide to bid. The cost of shipping includes packing material and tracking. I strongly urge you to purchase insurance. I cannot be responsible for items lost in the mail. I hope you understand.
