Two hundred twenty-nine (229) pieces of exquisite mid-20th Century American sterling silver flatware by Tuttle Silversmiths of Boston, Massachusetts, in the `Onslow` pattern. During President Calvin Coolidge`s term, Tuttle adopted the custom of marking each piece with a crescent and the initials of the incumbent President of the United States, a mark now unique to Tuttle. This set has been assembled over many years ranging from the the Presidency of John F. Kennedy through the Presidency of Gerald R. Ford.
