I bought these two tractors and parts with the idea of restoring at least one. I believe a good John Deer man could make two running tractors from these. Serial numbers of the tractors are, disassembled tractor is B 273107, complete tractor is B 206820. The previous owner parked these outside over 10 years ago and started on the one which is disassembled. He had torn it down and had the blocked bored. He bought a set of new oversized pistons and rings, included in this package, along with a gasket set. He never had time to complete the project and so the parts and tractors set for more than 10 years. The block, head, and the 3 pallets of parts were stored inside so they are in excellent shape. The block does have some surface rust on its surface but it can be cleaned and painted. T is some minor surface rust on the bored cylinder walls but light honing should clean it right up. The disassembled tractorâe(tm)s parts were delivered in a one ton dually pickup and I was told all parts to assemble this tractor were t, but Iâe(tm)m not sure, as I canâe(tm)t find the crank or carburetors. I do believe most of the parts are t as the one ton dually was completely full of parts.
