You are bidding on the two green bucket-style chairs pictured : One is shown unassembled to best show the design and overall condition, also show how the chairs will be packed and shipped. Unknown designer. T are no makers marks, labels or tags anyw on either chair. Wood legs are classified in fair condition because of the need for refinishing. Structurally, both chair frames and legs are completely sound, very sturdy. I bought these on eBay in 2000, have not changed anything. My starting price is the same as my 2000 winning ebay bid (not including shipping!) What the photos can't show you is the comfort of sitting in one of these chairs. They easily accomodate the entire weight of your body -- you are seated leaning back slightly in a relaxed but fully supported position. I'm 5'10" tall and it's easy to sit down/get up even though the chairs are not that high. Fabric is a soft, close-cropped avocado green fur, very very 70s/60s etc. T is slight fading at the stress points. All seams are tight. I've called out two blemishes in the fabric of one chair. One blemish is a round hole, the other is a small yellow stain. These blemishes were on the one chair when I won the auction. Both chairs are the same size: Measured from the floor up, both are almost 30" tall; Measured on the front edge of the seat, from the lowest point on the seat down to the floor = almost 13." The top of the back is 10" across and the bottom of the back is 24" across. Shipping: I will dissassemble both chairs, pack them in one box. That's how they were originally shipped to me from Arizona to Chicago. Shipping to a USA buyer is via Greyhound Package Xpress. Will cost NO MORE THAN $150 (and it will probably be less! - see the $75.00 quote below for shipping to California!) Send your Zip Code before you bid for CONFIRMED shipping cost. Shipping cost includes packaging materials, insurance, handling, and transit to your nearest Greyhound Package Xpress Station. NEW INFORMATION AS OF JULY 28: MOST Greyhound PackageXpress locations DO NOT offer home delivery -- you will have to actually go to the Greyhound Package Xpress location to pick up the one box contained the two chairs. Call or go to / to find the location and phone number of your nearest Greyhound Package XPress terminal. Please ask any questions, get confirmed shipping costs BEFORE BIDDING. Get more pictures, additional measurements BEFORE BIDDING. Returns are not accepted. Chairs are sold AS IS. Their condition is used, vintage. As I've stated, t are aesthetic flaws in the fabric on one chair and on the wooden legs of both. I lived with these flaws for at least 7 years, decorated each chair with throw pillows.
