Up for auction, with no reserve, is this pair of vintage dental cabinets, along with miscellaneous dental tools and milk glass equipment trays that fit inside of the cabinets. Cabinet number one was removed from a dental office in Wheeling, West Virginia, and is a tan cabinet with black top and trim, accented with chrome moldings. Made by the American Cabinet Company in Two Rivers, WI. The label on the under side of the left hand top drawer reads: Mahogany Dental, Article#141 Cab. Tan, Order# A21397, Operation dated 7/13/36, check #766, 2nd varnish/polish, check #743, rubbed 7/28/36, check #777. Cabinet measures 38" wide x 15" deep x 50" high. On top of the cabinets t are 2 compartments that lift open. The center cabinet has a large milk glass tray that fits inside. On the right side of the cabinet t is one slide out shelf. T are 24 various size metal drawers, with woo veneer facing. T are some scuffs and chips in the veneer and some corrosion on the metal.
The second cabinet is a blue cabinet with a black top and black trim. Made by the American Cabinet Company in Two Rivers, WI. Measures 30" wide x 15" deep x 50" high. T is one compartment on the top that opens, inside the cabinet is one large milk glass tray. T are 10 drawers in varied sizes. This cabinet is metal and does have some rust and corrosion inside the drawers and on the bottom portion of the cabinet. This cabinet also came out of a dental office in Wheeling, West Virginia. Included in this auction t are 34 white milk glass dental equipment trays with no chips, and 11 trays that have some chipping. Also included are many assorted dental tools.
