These are two truly beautiful collectible windmill wall hanging tiles made at Harlinger Aardewerk en Tegelfabriek, in the northern dutch province of Harlingen. These have been said to be equal in quality to Delft, but not as widely known. The Harlingen name is stamped into the back of each tile. They are in excellent condition, the paint is wonderful, no chips or scratches, the hooks they hang with are rusted, but can be cleaned up with little effort. Each tile is 5 1/4" square, with the frame they are 6 3/4" square. These would make a beautiful addition to your Dutch tile collection, and wonderful to display.Shipping will be 7.00 (insured) in the U.S. Outside the U.S. please email me for a shipping quote.
