Using centuries-old techniques of glassblowing, artisans shape the pure, clear crystal with little more than their breath and instincts. Yet, it is their mastery of the fusion of clear and colored crystal that sets them apart...when the newly-formed clear crystal, molten hot and unstable, is once again plunged into a fiery kiln w amidst the flames brilliant, colored crystal encases its body. Only then can each perfect piece be passed to a master cutter, who with care and precision, painstakingly cuts through the envelope of color to release the pure crystal encased beneath it.
