This Tyrannosaurus Rex desk-top telephone is very unique. It makes a great addition to a dinosaur lover's room. The T-Rex stands 12 1/2 inches tall. The base is 15 inches long and 5 1/2 inches at the widest place. The rock flips up to reveal the push button phone numbers. The entire length including his over-hanging tail and base is 16 inches. The receiver lifts out of his back with a spiral cord. A small compartment underneath allows for 2 AA batteries (new) which gives the T-Rex the ability to " roar " when the phone rings. It can also be set for a regular ring. T is a 7 foot cord for the phone. It has been part of my personal dinosaur collectables. It is fun to hear him roar.
