You are bidding on a U.S. Army combat hat in size 7-1/2 that was issued during the Vietnam War. I was told that it's called a "Go To Hell" hat because grenades were tucked into the band openings. Overall condition is very good but t is definite evidence of use. The brim is a bit stiff and parts of the fabric are dirty. An extra lining was attached in the field and the stitches are uneven. T are 2 rips in the fabric, just under the label. T's no doubt that this hat was worn in combat. It will make a terrific addition to your collection of Vietnam War memorabilia.
