Philippine Wars Lot. An original War Department document awarding a Bronze Medal (#637) to a member of the 1st Colorado Infantry Volunteers (Charles Newbury of Denver). Document is dated August 17th, 1908. When document is held up to the light a watermark date of 1907 is revealed on the parchment. Completely original. Measures 8" X 10.5". Also included is an original hand made Philippino knife (About 15" long), and a book on the Colorado Infantry in the Philippine wars. T is some sort of dedication of the inside cover, along with the author's signature. High bidder gets the whole lot. Document has been placed between two pieces of plastic to protect (Can be removed; not permanent) it. I will just leave it alone and ship it that way. No rips or repairs. Great piece of history .. Priority shipping is included in opening bid. No PayPal.
