This table set is a Nursery Rhyme set. The pieces are a sugar and lid, a butter and lid, a spooner, and a creamer. The set consists of 2 1/2 inch tall creamer, with scenes of Jill holding a pail, Jack jumping over a candlestick, a person sitting on a wall with a cup or something in his hand and a hat on that says Dunce. In between the scenes is a tree. Also t is a covered butter dish, the scenes on the bottom of the butter dish include children and and birds, the bottom is about 3 1/4 inches wide and about 2 1/2 inches tall with the lid on. The scenes on the lid include a girl with a stick in her hand and a hoop, a girl holding a balloon, two children, a girl and a boy, walking away, and a hat blowing around. T is some slight roughness on the bottom of the butter lid. The spooner has a scalloped top, and is about 2 1/2 inches tall. The scenes on the spooner include Puss and Boots in a cape, a man with a pig, and Bo Peep looking for her sheep. The trees also divide these scenes. The sugar is not quite 4 inches tall including the lid. On the lid is a drum, drumsticks, a shoe an old bicycle, a sticktype child and a horn. The bottom of the sugar shows a girl in a bonnet holding a hoop, a boy with a hat on holding a sailboat, and either a boy fox, or a boy dog dressed in a coat and pants standing upright holding an umbrella over either a girl dog or cat dressed up in a long dress with a bow at the neck. The boy appears to be talking to the girl under the umbrella. Trees also divide these scenes. This is a very nice set, it appears to show a tinge of purple in the glass. I am showing you the set, then the individual pieces.
