Up for bid is a U.S. ARMY PATTERN 1896 .38 CALIBER CARTRIDGE BOX. This cartridge box was manufactured at the Rock Island Arsenal in 1907 and inspected by T.C, the flap is stamped 4D and 51. This cartridge box comes complete with the drilled wooden block that hold 12 cartridges. This cartridge box is in excellent plus condition and the leather is soft and pliable. We ship by Priority Mail with delivery confirmation, insurance is extra, and the responsibility of the bidder. Overseas shipments are sent by airmail, the postage costs will be determined after the end of auction when destination is determined.
