This is the 1983 book written by Morrissey - James Dean Is Not Dead From Wikipedia: "[Morrissey] interrupted his music career at around this time [c.1977-83], focusing instead on writing on popular culture. He published two works with Babylon Books: The New York Dolls (1981), about his favourite band; and James Dean is Not Dead (1983), about actor James Dean 's brief career. A third book, Exit Smiling, which was actually written first (in 1980) and which dealt with obscure B movie actors, was initially rejected and remained unpublished until 1998. This is the 1983 Babylon Books first edition of the James Dean book not the later re-print edition. Published before the great man dropped his first name, the author is recorded as 'Steven Morrissey'. In very good plus/near fine condition with some very slight edgewear to the spine. No inscriptions and no other particular faults apparent. Very rare book, copies of which can be found listed elsewhere on the internet for £100+ I may live to regret this. but I'm listing this here for an utterly insane 99p start and no reserve.
