This is auction is for a deep olive green Udolpho Wolfe's Aromatic Schnapps Schiedam bottle. The bottle stands 9 1/8" tall. The round pontil at the bottle roughly measures 2" in diameter. The lip measures 7/8" tall, with a 1" mouth in diameter. The lip features an unusual crease that runs the diameter half-way through. The lettering "Udolpho Wolf's" measures 7" x 9/16" The lettering "Aromatic Schnapps" measures 5 1/4" x 1 1/2" The lettering "Schiedam" measures 5 7/8" x 9/16" The kickup on the bottom ranges in measurement from 1/4" on one side of the bottle to 5/8" on the opposite side The bottle is beautifully whittled, rich and deep in color, and is in near mint condition. A trace amount of old residue can be seen on one side, but otherwise it is both magnificent and as close to perfect as a bottle of it's age can be. Adding to its charm is a 3/8" long bubble at the top just beneath the neck. The apostrophe at the end of Udolpho Wolfe's looks more like a period mark, and the "s" is considerably smaller.
