we have an excellent condition ULMIA German made toothing plane. The plane shows very little signs of use. The blade it about 30 TPI. Hard to count those little nibs but that is close. Other than some very minor dark stains on the sole the plane is near mint. Still has most of its original finish. Blade is a bit over 6 1/2 inches long and a hair under 2 inches wide. 48mm which seems standard for Ulmia. It looks like the corners of the blade were rounded. Blade is laminated with a layer of hardened steel applied to the back. These planes were used for preparing a surface for veneering and according to Whelan in his "Wooden Plane" book they are very well suited to leveling "twisted and cross grain wood" to be followed by scraping for a final finish. Buyer to pay 7.00 shipping to the lower 48. Elsew at cost.
