ULTRA RARE FIRST PATTERN PARACHUTIST FIRST AID POUCH. Pouch is in excellent condition but is missing the attachment straps. The straps were very carefully removed. Zipper is in great shape and still works well. Pull is marked TALON (sorry for the dark photo, it was the only way to get the markings to show without the flash washing them out). These pouches were issued to aircrew and paratroopers in the beginning of WW2. The straps were to attach the pouch to the parachute harness. This type was later replaced by the sealed pouch so often seen in the D-Day photos on the airborne troopers. Please look closely at the photos and ask any questions. I ship USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation. I require insurance for all international bidders.
