ULTRA RARE SLINGERLAND SOCK CYMBAL 1930'S COMPLETE *WOW
Up for auction is a very hard to come by 1930's sock cymbal, I picked up a early slingerland drum set (from what I can find out it looks like it may be a Hollywood Boulavard set from the 1936 catalog but I'm not sure). The set must have had 3 inches of dust on it and I'm guessing it sat in someones attic for years. It looks like there may be extra pieces and parts so I will list them as I get time to go through them and figure out what goes with what, I am not a drum guy and plese don't bombard me with e-mails asking if I have this or that ( I would not know what you are talking about anyway.) I hope to put the snare drum on within the next week, it's marine pearl and has Slingerland Radio King on the top metal rim. The 1936 slingerland catalog shows this sock cymbal with 10 inch cymbals, these were the 2 matching 10 inch so they are the ones I included with this stand. They are both stamped Leedy on them. They appear complete from what I can tell. These are farm fresh and the metal shows wear as you can see in the pictures. The cymbals work as well as the 2 clips in the foot pedal that hold it so it does not slide I'm guessing. Feel free to e-mail any questions on this sock cymbal and I will do my best to answer them. This is a no reserve auction but I do reserve the right to end the auction if there seems to be no real intrest in the cymbal. Thanks
