A superb & original WW2 German army helmet leather harness. It is complete & in excellent very strong used condition. It has stamps. One is a manufacture's mark:- "??CH-LINDEN LUDENSCHED 1940". The feild-grey painted spring clip also has a stamping (pic 6). These harnesses were used for attaching the helmet to a belt, vehicle, tank turret etc. They were also used to attach camouflage foliage etc. Photo's No 8 & 9 are taken from the book " Le Casque Allemande". PLEASE NOTE : The helmet in the first picture is a 'prop' only & is not for sale or part of this auction. Thank you.
